The new packaging center will be built directly in port William, covering an area of 100 thousand square meters. It will be made up of four halls with a total area of more than 40 thousand square meters. About 7 thousand different kinds of Audi, Volkswagen and Volkswagen commercial car brand parts will be delivered at port William in the future and 250 containers are packed a week. This is equivalent to more than 12 thousand containers (40 feet high) each year. The construction of the new packaging center will be invested by the private sector and will be started this year. The packaging center will be taken over by the logistics service provider and is planned to be put into use in 2019.
